Casa Grande is a well appointed, self-catering accommodation, a spacious rustic village house in the white washed-mountain pueblo of Canillas de Albaida, close to Cómpeta, comfortably housing up to ten people at only £50.00 per person per week all year round.

Accommodation

The house has a reception/sitting room with log burning stove; kichen; gothic style dining room; two bathrooms with two additional toilets. Five bedrooms configured as: a family room (double plus single pull out bed), a double, a twin, a bunk room (full sized) and one single.

Outside

There are two sun terraces and a shady courtyard garden. Casa Grande is only one minute from the village swimming pool, open from mid June to mid September.

Coast/Beach

There are several beautiful beaches nearby all of which are around 25 minutes drive away in Caleta, Torre Del Mar, Torrox Costa and Nerja.

Canillas de Albaida

Canillas de Albaida has seven bars/restaurants, a bank, a chemist, three supermarkets, a doctor, a post office, a hardware store, a gift shop, three churches, a tobacconist and an open air market on Monday mornings. The village is only 25 minutes drive from attractive, Spanish, seaside resorts and only one hour from Malaga International Airport. Fifteen minutes walk away is Archez, a tiny village, featuring, unbelievably, a Thai restaurant. Canillas is a haven for families, walkers, artists and writers and set on the edge of the National Park. There is also a horse riding stable just outside the village. A short drive away is the village of Cómpeta where there are additional restaurants and a hotel whose swimming pool is open almost all year round.
