Arriving By AirA number of budget airlines fly direct from the UK to Málaga. The flight takes approximately two hours. Granada Airport has recently opened for international flights, offering a realistic alternative to Málaga. EasyJet EasyJet offers flights from Belfast International, Bristol, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, London Stansted, Newcastle and Nottingham East Midlands to Málaga. FlyBe FlyBe offers flights from Birmingham, Exeter, Norwich and Southampton to Málaga. Iberia Iberia offers flights from Aberdeen, Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Newcastle to Málaga although all flights require at least one transfer, sometimes more. http://www.iberiaairlines.co.uk Jet2.com Jet2.com offers flights from Leeds Bradford and Manchester to Málaga. Monarch Airlines Monarch offers flights from Aberdeen, Birmingham International, Blackpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Newquay to Málaga, and from London Gatwick to Granada. RyanAir RyanAir offers flights from Dublin and Shannon to Málaga, and from Liverpool and London Stansted to Granada. From Málaga Airport To CómpetaCómpeta is approximately an hour from Málaga by car. At the airport you can either arrange or collect a hire car. By TrainWith the Channel Tunnel as an option, you have the choice between making a crossing by boat or taking the Eurostar as far as Paris. Both options involve changing trains in Paris (and stations, from Nord to Austerlitz), and again at the Spanish border. The standard rail journey is around 27 to 29 hours from London to Barcelona or Madrid; with the Eurostar, it takes around 20 to 21 hours.
